A Day with Grandma and Jim

Today, Livi, Joey, and I went over to Grandma and Jim's house for a visit. To start the day, we all went downtown for the weekly Farmer's Market. It was fun walking around and finding good deals on produce. After the farmer's market, we went to see a Civil War re-enactment. Olivia loved looking around and pointing out the differences between what we have today that they didn't back then. We were also able to walk into the Old State Capital building and see Abraham Lincoln (Livi didn't realize it wasn't the real Abe, and I chose to let her be in awe for awhile). It was another one of those times that I love watching Livi and Joey discover the world, their excitement and innocence is amazing!

Later, we all went back to Grandma and Jim's house for a little bit of swimming and pizza. It was a great morning/afternoon! Thank you to Grandma and Jim for the delicious pizza!
