The Taste of Springfield

Last night, mom, Jim, Livi, Joey, and I went downtown to the "Taste of Springfield." This is an annual event where restaurants from all over Springfield have a booth with various food samples. You buy tickets and walk to the different booths and sample whatever you would like. We had a great time. The food was great, there were kid games for Livi and Joey, and there was lots of room for the kids to run around and play.

At the end of the night, Livi, Joey, and I were able to take a horse and carriage ride around downtown Springfield. Livi was SO excited, she said she felt like a princess. I absolutely love being able to experience all of these new things with Livi and Joey. To see things and experience them for the first time through their eyes is amazing!
Livi and Joey won the swords at a game, they had sword fights the rest of the night...and so did another kid :)
Running through the mist sprinklers was one of Livi and Joey's favorite things to do.
