Oh Joey!

Our sweet little Joey has begun to enter into the "terrible two" stage. He has become more proficient with climbing up on tables and beds to get to things that he wants. He has officially learned the word "no" and how to use it appropriately. He once thought it was a good idea to hit mommy when he was mad, but quickly learned that that idea wasn't so good after all.

On a positive note, with Joey discovering his independence, he has also made great milestones. We just had his 6 month OT/PT review and they sang praises about his growth. Joey has tested out of PT. His delays are very minor and they will only follow up with him once a month. Joey will continue OT every week until he is better with utensils and other fine motor skills. He will also begin speech therapy this month and will receive it every other week. Joey had 35% delay in both receptive and oral language, so he will receive some help with that. I am not too worried right now with his speech, because Livi didn't start fluently speaking until she was 2 1/2 (when I was hospitalized with Joey and she had no choice but to talk to people so they could understand); but Jas and I would like to give him the best start possible, so we decided to go ahead and start speech now.

Everyday we still thank the Good Lord for our little man, especially the countless times we say "no Joey" in our day!
