Mother's day weekend was wonderful. It began on Friday when I received my first Mother's Day gift from Jason, Livi, and Joey. They gave me a new double lounger for the patio and matching seat cushions for the table chairs.
For Mother's Day, Livi and Joey made Grandma Huber ladybug garden stones for one of her many gardens. (They also made a gift for Grandma Heiple, but that can't be shown yet :)
On Mother's Day, Mom, Jim, Jas, Livi, Joey, and I headed up to sunny Chicago for a Chicago Cubs game. Yes you read it right, we went to a Cubs game. Mom had gotten tickets from work and invited us to go with them. Although it wasn't the team we root for, it was nice to spend the day with Mom/Grandma on Mother's Day and go to a ballgame. The kids had a blast!
After the game Livi and Joey got to run the bases. They did a great job!
Pictures next the Harry Carey.
On the way home, Joey was showing Monkey Chicago. It was absolutely adorable! He would say "Look Monkey, see the boats. Look Monkey, see the water..." Too cute!
I had another amazing Mother's Day this year! I am so blessed to have two beautiful, healthy children and a wonderful husband. God is good!
