For the Fourth of July, the Sennott clan all got together at mom and Jim's house. Mom and Jim were kind to open their home for a big bash. We had a cookout, played games, played outside, and of course lit some fireworks.
At dusk we headed to downtown Springfield to watch their firework display. We got their around 7:45/8 and the rain started a little after 8. Needless to say, after three different rain fronts flew in we were all SOAKED, but the weather cleared just in time for the fireworks. It was a really nice show, and I guess well worth the wet :)
Then around 10:30 we loaded up two very exhausted children and headed home. It was a great day full of family fun!
