Happy Easter!

The Heiple's had a busy Easter this year. Our day started at home, Olivia and Joey woke up to baskets full of goodies, and eggs hidden in the house. I guess the Easter bunny enjoyed the carrots and water Livi and Joey left out for him. Once they opened their baskets, everyone got ready for Easter Mass. Olivia wore her BEAUTIFUL Easter dress, and Joey was handsome as ever in her dress shirt and tie!

After Mass, we loaded up the van and headed for El Paso. Great Grandma and Grandpa Sennott had a delicious brunch for the family, and they also had a fun egg hunt. Grandma and Grandpa always put money in their eggs, and Olivia and Joey had a lot of money to put in their piggy banks.

I tell you what, the Easter bunny was VERY busy on Easter morning, because he delivered Easter baskets to our house, Great Grandma and Grandpa's house, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Rick's house, Uncle Mark and Jay's house, and Grandma and Jim's house. Needless to say, Livi and Joey are VERY loved. They got bubbles, clothes, movies, candy, Donald Duck dancing toys, silly string, glow sticks, etc. One toy that everyone received were squirt guns. We took advantage of those toys right away and had a water fight outside. Uncle Jake and Jas seemed to get the brunt of the water. While we were at Great Grandma and Grandpa's house, Grandpa Dressler and Pattie stopped by and gave Olivia and Joey another Easter basket. It was great seeing everyone!

After Great Grandma and Grandpa's house, we loaded up the van again and headed towards Metamora to visit Grandpa Heiple. Livi and Joey loved playing with grandpa and helping him get his boat ready for fishing season. Grandpa had more goodies for Livi and Joey, and also had eggs hidden for them. Grandpa put quarters in his eggs which made Livi and Joey's piggy banks even heavier. We had a nice supper with grandpa and then loaded up the van once more to head home. We pulled into 512 Sattley Street absolutely exhausted from our busy day, but it was a great Easter!
