Last night Jason and I brought Livi and Joey to see Santa Claus. We knew Olivia would do well because she has been so excited to go talk to him. Joey surprised us. He did not want to sit on Santa's lap, but he didn't cry and scream either. He was happy to stand there and watch him, take a picture with him, and then at the end he gave him a high five and bumps. Olivia followed tradition and brought carrots for the reindeer. The Santa was so good with her and told her that he was so glad she brought carrots because he had to go up and feed the reindeer in a 1/2 hour...she was so happy! She sat on Santa's lap and told him all the things she wanted for Christmas and then at the end she gave him a great big hug. I had tears in my eyes; it is so amazing watching your children be in awe of something so wonderful!
After visiting Santa, Livi rode the train and the carousel, then we all went out for dinner. It was such a nice family night, one to cherish!
