Cornfest 2010

This weekend, Livi, Joey, and I headed up north to El Paso for the 2010 Corn Festival. We had a full and very fun weekend. We started our weekend Friday night at the spaghetti dinner. We met Great Grandma and Grandpa, Kelly, Rick, Jake, Stephanie, Grandpa Dressler, and Grandma and Jim there for dinner. After dinner, we all traveled up town to all of the carnival rides. Great Grandma and Grandpa bought Olivia a ride band that allowed her to ride any ride she wanted. She had a great time! Olivia had the opportunity to meet and ride with her cousin, Zachary, and went on a "big girl" ride with grandma Huber.

That night, we stayed with Kelly and Rick in Bloomington. Olivia LOVES staying with Aunt Kelly and Uncle Rick. She loves to tease back and forth with Uncle Rick. A BIG thank you to Kelly and Rick for opening your home to us and for the delicious chocolate chip muffins!

On Saturday morning, we all headed up to El Paso again for the Corn Festival Parade. Livi and Joey got a ton of candy. Not only did they get candy, but they also got a webkinz, Zandy Bands, bubbles, and bottled water...WOW have parades changed since I was a kid! Uncle Mark, Jay, Katie, and Jim were also able to join us at the parade. Olivia hadn't seen Katie (her Godmother) for almost a year now, so it was so nice to be able to visit with her, and everyone!
