Jason's day began at 7:30 when his children were anxiously awaiting him to open his presents. Olivia and Joey guarded them until daddy came out and opened them. While waiting, Joey stood up in the middle of the floor four times. This was a first and yet another step towards walking...he is so close! For Jason's birthday, grandma and Jim, Livi, Joey, and I got him a Wii. Ever since the Wii party at Jake's house in January, it has always been in the back of my head that someday I would like to get Jas a Wii. So, as you can imagine, after opening the Wii, for a good portion of the morning and afternoon, Jason and Olivia played the Wii together (while Joey took a nap) and then we went out for the evening.
We went to the mall so Jason could choose a couple of Wii games that he wanted, went out to The Pizza Machine for Jason's favorite dinner...pizza...and then back home for cake. Awhile ago Jason joked about how he wanted a Darth Vader cake for his birthday, so he got one. I always make character cakes for Livi and Joey's birthdays, so I made one for Jason's!
After cake, baths, and snuggle time we put the Livi and Joey to bed, and then daddy and I played the Wii.
Happy birthday daddy! We love you!
