Beach Day

Olivia's last kindergarten event this year is Beach Day.  She gets to go to school in her swim suit, cover up, and flip flops and play in the water all day long.  They have pools, slip n' slides, water tables, sand, etc set up outside the school so the children can have fun in the sun all day long!

Music Time

In July Jason and Olivia will be singing at church.  Our music director will be gone on retreat, so Jason and Livi are going to fill in for him.  I am so excited, it has been awhile since I have heard Jason play his guitar and sing at church...it brings back fond memories.  The first time I saw/met Jason he was singing at our church in Bloomington...from that point on I knew I had to know him!

Today was Jas and Livi's first practice together!  I can't wait until July 1st!

Flower Power

FINALLY...the weather has finally decided to warm up and stay warm, which means flower planting time!  Olivia and I worked hard to get all of our pots planted, watered, and up on our flower tree.  I love spring time!

Park Day

  Today Olivia had her end of the year park day with her class.   Jason and Joey were able to go with her and play, and I was able to join them for a picnic lunch.  It was a beautiful day outside, and so neat to see Olivia playing with her new kindergarten friends!

End of the Year Luau

 On Tuesday, Jason, Joey, and I attended Olivia's end of the year luau program.  The kindergarten teachers host this program as a close to the school year.  The kids sang songs, recited poems, and gave us gifts...it was adorable!  Of course this mommy was teary-eyed through the whole performance, but what else is new :)

Thank you Mrs. Renshaw and Mrs. O'Brien for such a wonderful year!  You two are the best!

Happy Mother's Day Mommy!

Mother's Day was so relaxing this year!  We were able to stay home and relax...no cleaning, traveling, etc.  At night Jason, Livi, and Joey brought me out to eat and then we went to my favorite store, Barnes and Noble, and relaxed with a book, soda, and rice crispie treat!  I loved every moment!

Let's Go Cardinals...Let's Go!

 

After fishing with Grandma and Grandpa, we all headed to the Cardinals game.  This was our first game of the season, and it was a beautiful night!  Livi and Joey had a lot of fun singing, dancing, and cheering.  This year was Joey's turn to go with grandma and make a Build-a-Bear Fred Bird, he was so proud!  Unfortunately the Cardinals did not win, but it was a great night at Busch Stadium.
