Fishing with Grandpa and Daddy

 

On Mother's Day weekend we headed down to Missouri to go fishing with Grandma and Grandpa Heiple and go to our first Cardinal game of the season.  Grandma and grandpa rented a cabin near a lake for a weekend retreat.  Jas, Livi, Joey, and I went down to join them on Saturday.  As soon as we got to the cabin everyone ate a quick lunch and then headed to the lake.  Grandma and I decided to relax outside on the deck and read our books...that was nice!  Livi and Joey both caught quite a few fish.  It seemed like they would cast their lines and within minutes had a bite.  They were very proud of themselves!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Tonight was Olivia's first T-Ball game.  She did a great job hitting and fielding the ball!  I think this may be on of her new favorite sports...we will see!

Field Trip with Daddy

 Joey goes to school 4 days a week, and always has Fridays off with daddy.  These boys have lots of fun and great adventures together.  Here they are at the tractor store...our little farmer is in tractor heaven!

Planting Time

 

While we were in Bloomington for the March of Dimes, Livi, Joey, and I headed up to El Paso to help grandpa plant.  We got to ride in the tractor, and play on all kinds of other farm equipment.  To our surprise, Jake, Stephanie, and Nicholas came too.  They were showing their house to sell and needed a place to hang out.  After playing on the farm, we all headed into town and had a great lunch and had time to visit with Uncle Dave, Frank, and Arlene.   It was a fun afternoon on the farm!

March of Dimes 2012

 This year we returned to Bloomington for the March of Dimes.  Last year we tried Springfield, and it just wasn't the same!  It was a cool, rainy day, but we still had a great time marching in honor of all the babies who fought to live, and those who lost their battle.

We would like to thank everyone who donated money to this great cause, and for supporting our team!  March for Dimes is a organization near and dear to our hearts and we will continue to march every year in honor of our precious babies!

Figure Eights

Joey loves riding the big wheel he got for his birthday!  Today Jason put a chalk figure 8 on the driveway and Joey learned how to ride on the figure 8, gain speed, and then peel out....I declare he will be the first Heiple to have a broken bone!
