Happy 4th Birthday Sweet Boy!

 I cannot believe that our baby boy is 4 years old today!  The years have just flown by, and it makes me happy and sad at the same time.

To celebrate his big day, we woke up very early in the morning to an excited little boy ready to open presents :).  We let him open his presents and then Livi and I had to go off to school.  Luckily Joey and Daddy had the day off, so Jason brought Joey out to a fun birthday lunch and they played with his new toys all day.  That night, Livi, Jas, and I brought Joey out for a birthday dinner and then went to his favorite store...Barnes and Noble.

 

 On Saturday, we had Joey's family and friend birthday party.  The theme he chose this year was tractors.  We had to be sure to represent both John Deere tractors (for Grandpa Heiple) and Case tractors (for Grandpa Dressler).  Joey decided he wanted pizza for his birthday lunch, so we had pizza for all of the children and subs for all of the adults.

Joey had a blast!  He loved playing with all of his friends, loved being sung to, eating his cake, opening gifts, and being the center of attention!

Happy Birthday Joseph Crane!

This year Joey was able to celebrate his birthday at school!  He was beyond excited to bring in birthday treats, wear his birthday crown, and celebrate with his friends!  Where did my baby go?

Happy Easter!

 Happy Easter everyone!  We hope you had a wonderful day with family and friends celebrating God's unending love for us!

Easter in the Heiple house was crazy busy.  The night before, Livi and Joey laid out some water and carrots for the Easter Bunny, and to their surprise, they woke up to some fun Easter gifts!  Unfortunately they did not have a lot of time to play with their gifts because we had to get ready and go to 8 AM Mass, and then immediately after, we headed to El Paso to celebrate Easter with the Sennott clan!

After a delicious brunch and fun Easter egg hunt, we said our good-byes to everyone and headed to Metamora to see Grandma and Grandpa Heiple.  We had another delicious meal (very stuffed by this point) and Livi and Joey had another Easter egg hunt.  By Sunday night, we were all tired out and had a very quiet ride home :)

I Caught a Fish

 Jason usually  has to work on the weekends, but on Saturday he had the day off; so we decided to take Livi and Joey fishing.  We traveled over to Lake Taylorville and spent the morning fishing.  Olivia caught 1 fish and Joey caught 2 fish!

After fishing, we had a picnic lunch and gave Olivia and Joey time to play at a nearby park.  I absolutely LOVE family outings like these!  You cannot beat a quiet morning, relaxing with your family!

Easter Egg Time

 Today Olivia and Joey dyed their Easter eggs.  Olivia chose to make sparkle eggs and Joey chose dinosaur eggs.  They had a blast making their eggs!
