"The Bestest E-Mail Ever"

Olivia received an exciting e-mail yesterday from SANTA! In fact she said it was the "bestest e-mail ever!" She wanted to share it with you. I apologize ahead of time for my unsteady hand, I didn't realize I was moving that much!

The Stockings were Hung...on the Door?

Yes that is right, our stockings are on the door this year due to our 19 month sticky hand little boy. To say that Joey is into everything is an understatement, and we decided to not even attempt to leave our stockings at his level. Olivia was very excited about her stocking this year because we got her name embroidered on it, along with Joey, Ollie, and Bella's stockings.

Best Seat in the House

My two peas in a pod sitting together watching Sid the Science Kid. Joseph absolutely adores Olivia and wants to be where she is ALL the time!

Jolly Old Saint Nicholas

This week we went to visit Santa Claus! To say that Olivia was excited is a complete understatement. She could not wait to go! This is the first year that Olivia was willing to sit on Santa's lap and talk to him. She gave him a nice note that her and daddy wrote and she also gave him a bag of carrots for the reindeer. Santa told her that Rudolph would be her biggest fan this Christmas. Joey did o.k. He didn't quite know what to think as you can tell by the picture.

Today, Olivia and Joey woke up to a surprise. Following tradition, on the eve of St. Nicholas Day they put their shoes outside their door to see if St. Nicholas would come by and leave them something. To their surprise, this morning they each found a small gift in their shoes. Olivia received a Three Musketeers Barbie ornament and Joey got a Handy Manny ornament. They were very excited to hang them on our tree!

Welcome to Sangamon County Mom!

It's official folks, mom is now a citizen of Sangamon County. This week she moved into her and Jim's new house in Sherman. It will be nice to have her and Jim only 20 minutes away. Here is a sneak peak of their new house.

Yesterday Olivia, Joey, and I went over and helped them unpack. We put a small dent in the number of boxes to unpack, but they have a ways to go.

New Friends

This week, our friends the Kohlrus,' brought down two new members of their family...Jazzy and Jewels. They are the most adorable black Schnauzers you have ever met. They remind me a lot of my mom's dog, Spencer, when he was a baby. Joey absolutely loved them! He kept following them around and petting them. They were just his size!
