Huber Wiener Roast

Every year, mom and Jim host a wiener roast at their house and invite all kinds of family and friends. This year was the first time that they hosted it at their new house. It turned out to be a beautiful night and Livi and Joey has lots of fun. Livi roasted her first hot dog over the fire, and this was actually Joey's first wiener roast. It was so nice having everyone together and getting a chance to catch-up! Thank you to mom and Jim for all their hard in putting this together!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

That's right, Jason is another year younger! On November 7th we celebrated his day!

In the morning Livi and Joey woke him up in the wee hours of the morning wishing him a happy birthday (he loved that :) Then we all went to church. After church, Livi and I made him a delicious breakfast with pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, and hashbrowns. While I was cooking, Livi, Joey, and Jason opened presents. The big hit this year for daddy was his Blu-Ray player. He was very happy to get that. Then he also received a movie, a Star Wars Trouble game (to play with Livi and Joey), and some gift cards.

Unfortunately, after gifts and breakfast, Jason had to go into work; but after work we took him out to Mario's for yummy Italian food. Finally, after dinner we came home, sang happy birthday to him, and had cake.

Happy birthday sweetheart, we hope you had a great day! We love you!

Best Pals

Lately, Joey has been infatuated with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. He received the DVD "Mickey's Road Rally" for Halloween and ever since has watched the movie several times a day, carries around Mickey and Minnie, and sleeps with Minnie at night time. Step aside Thomas, Mickey and Minnie Mouse are in!

Why do I do this to myself?

A couple of weekends ago, I was shopping with my mom, Jim, Livi, and Joey. We went to Bergner's to browse when we came upon these adorable Christmas hats. Livi and Joey LOVE them and Joey often walks around the house wearing his. It is after the 20th rendition of "Jingle Bells" that I ask "Why do I do this to myself?" Check out these hats...

Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet...

It was an eventful Halloween weekend for the Heiple clan. On Saturday, Grandpa Dressler came down for the afternoon. He brought Olivia and Joey two HUGE bags of M&M's, had lunch with us, and then brought Livi and Joey to Walmart to pick out a Halloween treat. While we were out, we also stopped by Ashley Furniture to visit Jason and let Livi and Joey show off their costumes. Everyone had a little treat for them too!

On Sunday, as soon as the Livi and Joey woke up they discovered that The Great Pumpkin left them a little something. Then, later in the morning, Grandma and Grandpa Heiple came down to visit the Rochester spooks and have lunch with us. We also celebrated Jason's birthday (which is tomorrow)! When Grandma and Grandpa left, Jas and I brought Livi and Joey to Zoolie Ghoulie out at the Henson Robinson Zoo. This is a neat activity the zoo holds so the kids can see the animals before they hibernate in the winter and also allows them to get LOTS of candy. After Zoolie Ghoulie, we headed home for a quick supper and then off to trick or treat around the block, to Ms. JoAnn's house, and then to Grandma and Jim's house. Livi and Joey ended up with a load of candy that will last us till next Halloween. The Great Pumpkin was good to the Heiple clan!

Fall Fun

Last Saturday it was beautiful outside. It was sunny and 70 degrees. Livi, Joey, and I went outside to play in the leaves. I love fall, it is my favorite season!

Sleeping Beauty's Halloween Party

Olivia also had a Halloween party at her preschool. Everyone dressed up, had a parade to show off their costumes, had a treat, played games, and shared treat bags. She came home with A LOT of candy!

Yoda's Party

Joey had a Halloween party at Fun Shop. He and his classmates dressed up, played, had a treat, and went on a pumpkin hunt. He had a lot of fun at his FIRST school party!

Mountain Dogs

Who needs mountain goats when we have Ollie and Zoie. They have learned to climb up on the outside toy chest so they could look inside the house. Needless to say I have used a lot of Windex on the windows.

Cat Girl

Livi and I loved this dress when we saw it! She wore it to school Halloween week.

Olivia's Preschool Open House

A couple weeks ago, Mom, Jim, Joey, and I went to Olivia's open house at her preschool. Livi was VERY excited to show Grandma and Jim where she goes to school and all of her projects. It was really neat to see Olivia interact with her friends...I can't believe that our little girl is getting so big!

Here are some of her projects...
Olivia's journal entries

Joey checked the place out, I think he is looking forward to starting preschool next year!
