Veggin'

This week three out of the four Heiple's had a horrible cold. I started the trend on Wednesday when I woke up with an achy back, chills, and major fatigue. Just today I have begun feeling better. Livi and Joey started to have cold symptoms Friday night, and it hit them hard today. Needless to say, this week we all vegged around the house.

Bridal Luncheon

On Saturday, Livi, Joey, mom, Brittany, and I drove up to El Paso for mom's bridal luncheon. Grandma, Kelly, and I hosted a small luncheon at the Tea Room to celebrate mom's upcoming wedding. Everyone had a great time visiting and the food was delicious! It is hard to believe that the wedding is only a few weeks away!

I was in charge of the party favors and made these little table decorations.

Our Little Gymnast

This Wednesday, Olivia went to her very first gymnastics class. Jason and I decided it was time for her to try gymnastics, so we signed her up at the Mid-State Gym. She will go once a week for 45 minutes.

Olivia absolutely LOVED her gymnastics class, and did a great job on her first day! Here are some videos of her first class.

Out like a lion, in like a lamb

Ahh.... the signs of spring! The bright, beautiful sun shining in the windows, the 50 degree temps, the hundreds of honking geese flying over our house, and two little children and dogs being able to run off their energy outside. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this week, the weather was so nice, and Livi and Joey loved every minute of it. On Thursday and Saturday, they got to play outside at our house, and then on Friday we went to the park. Ahh.....spring!!!!!

Olivia and the Beanstalk

This week in school, Olivia got to hear the story Jack and the Beanstalk and then plant some "beanstalk seeds" of her own. Olivia was so excited to see that her beanstalk was growing and can't wait until it reaches the sky. She just hopes the giant doesn't come down!

Our Little Picassos

On Tuesday, Olivia brought home a froggy picture that she "needed" to paint for "homework." So on Wednesday, I set out her paints after supper and let her "do her homework." Joey quickly became jealous of his sister and insisted that he get to paint a picture. Joey has really begun the phase of whatever his sister does, he needs to do. This was Joey's first attempt at painting, and I think we have a future Picasso on our hands.

Happy Birthday Jillybean!

Yesterday, Olivia and Joey were invited to their friend Jillian's 6th birthday party. It was a swimming party held at the Taylorville YMCA. Livi and Joey had a blast! At first Joey was hesitant to get in the water, but once he realized he could touch and walk all over the place, he was off! I was amazed at their facilities and how kid accommodating they were. There was a big spiral slide, a tire swing, water guns, and a sprinkler. Needless to say, when 4 o'clock came and it was time to go, I was not mother of the year! A big thank you to the Kohlrus' for inviting us!

Aren't they cute?

The other day Ollie and Bella had a grooming appointment. Doesn't Ollie looked pleased with us?

Game Night 2010

Saturday night the Sennott's got together at mom and Jim's house for our annual game night. We had a lot of fun playing board games and the Wii. We also celebrated Uncle Rick and Jays' birthday. Livi and Joey soaked up all of the attention!

Great-Grandma and Olivia made Barbie, Ken, and a horse and carriage out of Play-Doh! Stephanie made a snowman.
