Happy 4th of July!

We wish everyone a safe and fun 4th of July!

Princess Olivia at the Royal Ball

The last class/event I signed Olivia up for was the Royal Ball. It is hard to tell if dance camp or the Royal Ball was her favorite. She dressed up like a princess, made a magic wand, made fairy dust, danced at the ball, got to touch Snow White's magic apple, and have a delicious desert with her princess friends. She had a great time!

Grandma's Little Helpers

Last Thursday, Olivia, Joseph and I went over to Clinton to visit my mom at work. I had some school work I wanted to get copied and Olivia really wanted to go see grandma. Needless to say, Olivia and Joseph were a BIG helpers!

Wild, Wacky Paint Day

Another class that I signed Olivia up for this summer was the Wild, Wacky Paint Day. She had a blast! Where else can you paint like a crazy person and not worry if you make messes? Here are some pics of her class...

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!

Yesterday we spent the whole day celebrating daddy's day. In the morning we went to church and brought Jason out to breakfast. After breakfast we brought him home to open his presents (some outfits and a new grill). Then, unfortunately, Jason had to work.

After work we brought Jason out to supper at TGI Friday's. While eating, we were surprised when Grandma Dressler, Jim, and Brittany sat at the table behind us...great minds think alike.

After supper, we went to Barnes and Noble, went Putt-Putting, and then went to a drive-in movie (we went to see Night in the Museum 2). This was Joseph's first experience with Putt-Putting and going to a drive-in movie!!!

As an added treat, Olivia, Joey, and I baked Jason a delicious brownie treat for the movie.

Happy Birthday, Anniversary, and Father's Day!

Yesterday Olivia, Joseph, and I went up to Starved Rock to celebrate Grandpa Sennott and Uncle Jake's Birthdays, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Rick's Anniversary, and Father's Day. There is always so much going on during the summer, so we try to get together for one big bash and celebrate everything all at once.

We had a delicious picnic down by the water, opened presents, and took a hike to the top of the rock. It was quite toasty outside, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Here are some pics of the day...

Olivia was the official present opener for everyone!

Joey didn't see much of the rock as you can see; and because he was sound asleep in his stroller, Uncle Jake, Uncle Mark, Uncle Jay, Uncle Rick, and Jim had to carry him up and down the MANY stairs. Joey owes them a BIG thank you!

Froggy Fun

This summer I signed Olivia up for some recreation classes here in Rochester. One class I signed her up for was Froggy Fun. This was a painting/game class where she went and painted a froggy planter, made and ate a froggy cupcake, and played some froggy games. She really enjoyed socializing with kids her age and possible classmates some day.

Prima Ballerina

This week Olivia attended a dance camp. Olivia absolutely LOVES to dance around the house and has mentioned taking dance lessons before. I decided to test her this week and see how she does taking directions and if she stayed interested. After a week of dance camp...I can safely say that we have a prima ballerina on our hands. She LOVED dance camp and actually cried when she found out it was over. I now have the job of finding a local dance studio that has openings and reasonable prices! Here are some pics of our little dancer...
